The idol of youth, a well-educated young orator and Islamic scholar Maulana Mizanur Rahman Azhari. He has been widely accepted by people of all classes and professions in a short period of time. He is one of the few Islamic thinkers alive today.
Early life
Mizanur Rahman’s father is a madrasa teacher and mother is a housewife. He was born on 26 January 1990 in Demra police station of Dhaka district. His ancestral home is in Paramtala village of Muradnagar in Comilla district. He studied in a madrasa from a young age. Later, he got a scholarship to Al-Azhar University. Due to his studies at Al-Azhar University in Egypt, the title ‘Azhari’ is attached to his name.
Mizanur Rahman got married on 29 January 2014. He has two daughters.
Education
Mizanur Rahman passed the entrance examination from Darunnajat Siddiquia Kamil Madrasa in Demra, Dhaka in 2004 with a GPA-5. In 2006, he obtained a Golden GPA-5 in the Alim examination. In 2007, he stood first in the Egyptian government scholarship examination organized by the Islamic Foundation and went to Egypt to do his undergraduate studies at Al-Azhar University, Egypt. From there, he graduated with honors in 2012 with a CGPA of 80 percent from the Department of Tafsir and Quranic Science. After spending five years of his education in Egypt, he went to Malaysia in 2013. There, he completed his post-graduation from the International Islamic University, known as the Garden of Knowledge. He completed his post-graduation from the Department of Quran and Sunnah Studies of that university in 2016. His CGPA in his Masters was 3.82 out of four.
Research
After completing his post-graduation, he decided to do MPhil and PhD from the International Islamic University of Malaysia. He also completed his MPhil by 2016. His research topic was ‘Human Embryology in the Holy Quran’. Then he was nominated as a PhD candidate at the same university. He is doing PhD research on ‘Human Behavioral Characteristics in the Holy Quran and Analytical Study’. The medium of his MPhil and PhD was English. In addition, he participated in the IELTS exam and achieved an overall 7.5 out of 9 band score and a 7.5 band score in the speaking section.
Surname
Mizanur Rahman is his name. However, due to his studies at Al-Azhar University in Egypt, the title ‘Azhari’ is added to his name.

It is clear just by looking at Mizanur Rahman Azhari that one can present oneself smartly while adhering to the precepts of Islam. That is why the youth of this time like him very much. A stream of youth can be seen in his Tafsir Mahfil. He also likes the youth very much. In the Tafsir Mahfil, he urges the youth to follow the good path.
